Go Green APU, LLC is located in Altoona, Pennsylvania and was formed as of June, 2010 to provide anti-idling and emission reduction solutions for the on-highway trucking industry.
Go Green APU manufactures auxiliary power units (APU) that are installed on long haul trucks, car carrier trailers and tank trailers. The use of a Go Green APU reduces truck engine idling, allowing for fuel savings and extended truck engine service intervals.
Go Green APU’s are similar but not identical to the former Black Rock Systems APU’s engineering and features. Go Green APU acquired the intellectual properties, inventories and patents of the former Blackrock Systems LLC as part of a limited asset sale.
